Autumn creative workshops at Auchan Katowice Shopping Centre – decorate a pumpkin and make a heather centrepiece

On 10 October 2026, from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm, we invite you to the Auchan Katowice Shopping Centre for some autumn creative workshops. Pumpkins, heather, colours and natural materials will provide the inspiration to create your own seasonal decorations. This event is for children and adults who want to spend an autumn afternoon being creative.

Pumpkins with an autumnal twist 
During the workshops, participants will decorate natural pumpkins according to their own ideas. You’ll be able to paint them, cut out fanciful patterns and decorate them using, amongst other things, tempera paints, felt-tip pens, markers, googly eyes, beads, buttons, stickers, raffia and sisal. Each pumpkin can therefore be transformed into a completely different, unique autumn decoration.

Arrangements made from natural heather
The second part of the event will involve creating arrangements from natural heather. You’ll be able to attach the flowers to metal hoops shaped like hearts, clouds or circles, and then complete the arrangement with colourful bows and other embellishments. The finished arrangement can decorate your home or make a lovely handmade gift.

An idea for a family autumn afternoon in Katowice
The workshops are an opportunity to create together and spend time in an autumnal atmosphere. You can combine your visit with a spot of shopping or running daily errands – the Auchan Katowice Shopping Centre is home to shops, service outlets and eateries, and there are also two playgrounds available for families.
